America Report

  America
Do you know that there is three hundred and twenty three million people living in America? That's a lot of people. America is a really big country so that's why lots of people live there. If you want to learn more facts keep reading the Information Report, to find out about traditions, their money, population and sports.

America has a lot of traditions, like America celebrates Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Groundhog Day and there are heaps more. Some traditions of America we don’t even celebrate in New Zealand.

The names of American dollars are called  pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters and notes are 1, 2, 5, 20, 50 and 500 dollar notes.

The five most popular sports played in America are soccer, ice hockey , basketball, baseball and the top popular sport is football. Fun fact: The first football game was played in 1869. American football has won lots of tournaments.

Hope you enjoyed. Did you learn a lot about sports, money, traditions and the population?

A couple of weeks ago Te Ngahere had to do writing about our  chosen country my chosen country was America. We were learning to write an information report. We had to write facts about our chosen country, I actually learnt a lot of facts about America that I didn't even know. I really enjoyed writing my information report.
